Cori “Coco” Gauff
Cori “Coco” Gauff is one of the most promising American players in the game today. She burst onto the scene in 2019 beating Venus Williams on the way to the fourth round of Wimbledon. Gauff is just 15 (she turns 16-years-old in March) and hit her highest ranking in February 2020 (No. 49). In October 2019, she obtained her first WTA title win in Linz by defeating Jelena Ostapenko.
Jannik Sinner
Italian up and comer Jannik Sinner won the ATP Tour’s Newcomer of the Year award in 2019. The award carries plenty of significance as it was voted on by Sinner’s contemporaries on the tour. Sinner put an exclamation point on the end of his fantastic tennis season by winning the ATP Next Gen Finals. He added a trio of Challenger trophies to his cabinet and reached No. 68 on the tour, his highest ever ranking. Sinner is just 18-years-old, but after reaching the second round of the Australian Open, will be confident of building on his young career in future Grand Slams in 2020.
Denis Shapovalov
Canada’s Denis Shapovalov is just 20 years old, but already has a wealth of pro tennis experience. January 2020 saw Shapovalov reach his highest ATP ranking, No. 13, while continuing to build on his strong play. In 2017, Shapovalov reached the fourth round of the US Open, which is the farthest he has gone in a Grand Slam. In 2019, he took home his first singles title with a win at the Stockholm Open.
