He is hoping for a solid result this week to get closer to the top 50 in the rankings. Last year around this time, Miomir played in Basel, where he lost his opening match against Rune in three tight sets.

According to the bookies, Mensik is the slight favorite in this matchup. Jakub is having his biggest season, so we believe that he will be fully confident coming into this matchup.
